Privacy Policy
The short version
No accounts, no tracking cookies, no selling data. We store your page so we can serve it, and as little else as possible.
What we actually keep
Your page content (so the link works). Your IP only as a one-way hash, for rate limiting and abuse prevention. Under laws such as the GDPR an IP address is personal data, hence this sentence. Timestamps, page size, approximate view counts. And an email only if you chose to add one, used solely to recover your manage link and keep your page from auto-cleanup.
Why we're allowed to (legal basis)
Our legitimate interest in operating the service and preventing abuse, and your consent for the optional email.
Cookies
No tracking or advertising cookies. The only cookies are an operator sign-in cookie (for admins) and, where enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile, which helps tell humans from bots on the publish form. It runs invisibly, so you will not see it; how Cloudflare handles that data is described in the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Who touches the data (processors)
Cloudflare: hosting, storage, CDN, and Turnstile; data may be processed in the United States and other regions. Google Web Risk: where enabled, embedded URLs may be checked against known phishing/malware lists. We do not sell your data.
Retention & your choices
Pages are retained per the lifetime policy in our Terms; IP hashes and abuse records only as long as abuse prevention needs them. Update or delete your page anytime with the manage link. Everything else: ops@htmltolink.com. Because pages are anonymous, what your manage link controls is often all we can connect to you, which is rather the point.
